CANNONSVILLE RESERVOIR - The construction of the Cannonsville Reservoir in Delaware County, NY was started in 1955 and completed in 1965. "When the water filled the valley in 1966, it consumed 19,910 acres of Delaware County; eliminating 94 farms, destroying five settlements - Cannonsville, Granton, Rock Rift, Rock Royal and Beerston, and displacing 941 people." (see Hartwick College link below for more info).

newOH, CANNONSVILLE - And now, from the heart of our very own Delaware County singer/songwriter/guitarist, Gary Teed, we present to you a song, written over the past several weeks, from a store of memories of when he was a seven year old boy during this tumultuous time.
