Moved to Little Compton, Rhode Island (then still a colony of Massacussetts) about 1682.
According to Little Compton library records, Jonathon lived at the end of the road south of the (graveyard) Commons.
In his will, Jonathon left his son John 100 pounds.
His gravestone reads "Here lieth y body of Jonathon Davenport died June 11 1729 aged 70 years"
His house was torn down in 1870. |
