The Will of Robert Launt, November 5, 1997
Be it Remembered, That at a Surrogate's Court, held at the Surrogate's Office in Walton in and for the County of Delaware, on the 7th day of June
1891, the last Will and Testament of Robert Launt, late of the town of Walton, in the County of Delaware, deceased, was *duly proved, before
Albert Sewell, Surrogate of said County, and was by said Surrogate adjudged valid, and established as a Will of real and personal Estate, and
the same, together with the proofs and examinations taken on the probate thereof, are pursuant to an order of the Surrogate here recorded to wit:
I Robert Launt of Walton, Delaware County, NY, being of sound mind and memory do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament that is to say
First, After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged I give devise and bequeath unto Hattie E. Bostwick, daughter of my wife the sum of $100 in recognition of her uniform kindness to me
Second, I give bequeath and devise all the rest, residue and remainder of all my real and personal property unto my two Executors hereafter named, a trust to hold and invest the same and pay all the rents, issues ( unreadable ) to thereof annually after payment of taxes and expenses to my wife Jane Launt for her support, use, maintenance during her natural life. Subject to the trust herein created I give devise and bequeath all my said real and personal property to my three children Andrew J. Launt, Esther A. Bennett, and Alice Williams, and their heirs to be divided equally between them, share and share alike. If any one of my said children shall not survive me then the interest thus bequeathed and devised to said child shall go to the heirs of said child.
I hereby grant the power unto my said Executors to sell and convey any and all of my real property as they shall deem for the best interests of said estate and in order to properly carry out the provisions of this instrument. Likewise I make constitute and appoint my son-in-law Austin P. Williams and John W. Townsend to be executors and trustees of this my last Will and Testament there by revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have here with subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 25th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty six.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof subscribed by Robert Launt in the presence of us and each of us he at the
time of making such subscription acknowledged that he made the same and declared the said instrument so subscribed by me to be his last Will and Testament. Where upon we these ( ) here at his request and in his presence and the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses therein.
