In the name of God, amen:
>I James Campbell of the town of Harpersfield County of Delaware and State of New York, being weak in body but of sound mind and memory, praised be God, do make and ordain this my Will and testament, revoking all thus.
And first, I will and bequeath to my son, Samuel, seven hundred dollars, all my wearing apparel and my silver shoe buttons.
I will unto my daughter, Sarah Youngs, ten dollars.
I will unto my daughter, Elizabeth Hamilton, one hundred dollars.
I will unto my daughter, Ellen C. McMurdy, one hundred dollars.
I will unto Ann, the wife of my son William, one hundred dollars.
I will unto my grandson, James C. Young, fifty dollars to be paid when he arrives at the age of twentyone years.
I will undo my grandson, James M. Campbell, fifty dollars to be paid when he arrives at the age of twentyone years.
I will and bequeath to my son, William, all the use of my property whether real or personal, and further I appoint him the sole executor of this, my last will and testament.
In witness, whereof I have set my hand and seal this tenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and forty two.
