Transcript of the letters of administration of James FINLAY.This was a huge discovery for me, as family lore had it that James died in Scotland. It also ties into my family Ebenezer Rowland, who was married to Margaret Finlay, but I was never sure of the connection. My grandfather was named after this person (through his grandfather by the same name) and he never knew it. Thanks for a great site.... and thank the wonderful people at the surrogates office, they are unique! - Dave Finlay, June 11, 2001
