In the matter of the Administration of the Estate of
Robert Hoy
Late of Bovina, deceased.
Petition
Filed Sept 8th, 1877

To the Surrogate of the County of Delaware:
The Petition of Thomas Hoy of the town of Bovina in the County of Delaware,
respectfully showeth:
That your petitioner is a brother of Robert Hoy late of the town of Bovina in the said
County of Delaware, now deceased; that the said deceased died on or about the 10th day
of December in the year of out Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy six; that at
or immediately preceding the time of his death, he was an inhabitant of the said County
of Delaware; that he has left no Will, as far as your Petitioner has been able to discover;
that the said deceased left him surviving the following next of kin, viz.
Nancy Hoy a mother residing at Bovina, Del. Co. NY
Margaret Hoy a sister residing at Bovina, Del. Co. NY
Alexander Hoy a brother residing at Bovina, Del. Co. NY
David Hoy a brother residing at Colchester, Del. Co. NY
And your petitioner, all of full age and sound mind.
That in the opinion of your Petitioner.. the whole amount of the personal property left by
the said deceased was about two thousand dollars.
Your Petitioner.. therefore prays that letters of administration upon the estate of the said
deceased may be granted to himself your petitioner, and James B. Lee of the town of
Bovina Delaware County, N.Y.
