Transcribed by Shirley Brownson from a letter sent to Milton Brownson (b. 1/3/1865 in Croton, Delaware Co., NY; d. 1/24/1940 in Flint, Michigan). The writer is probably Etta (Blanchard) Squire (b. 6/1855, probably in Delaware Co., NY): cousin of Milton, daughter of Charles and Samantha (Brownson) Blanchard, and granddaughter of Elisha Brownson (b. 12/23/1787 in New Milford, CT; moved to Delaware Co., NY; d. 7/1842). Unfortunately, the rest of the letter is missing. Julia Anne through Julius are children of Elisha. Virgil Remington is the son of Seba and Julia Anne (Brownson) Remington.

Yours rec'd and I will give you the birthdays of my Grandfathers family as well as my fathers children for I thought you had made a mistake in asking for my fathers family as they were Blanchards.
