EUREKA CEMETERY
(aka Kelly Corners/Hubbell Cemetery) - Rt. 30 South Hallcottsville before Rt 36

31 October 2001 re: View from Frog Alley Photo Hi Joyce, I'm sure you know that your photo "View from Frog Alley at Kelly Corners" is the reverse view of the cemetery scene in the movie YOU CAN COUNT ON ME - which was shot from the top level of the cemetery toward the river. The movie is available on Video/DVD. If you watch it you will see that Laura Linney's character goes to her parent's graves, which are supposed to be at the top level of the Kelly Corners Cemetery, so you get a wonderful view of the reverses of your photo, and can see the bridge and the yellowish mill? in your picture. I think the movie is one of the finest pictures in many years. The beautiful colonial home where Laura lives is on the Stratton Falls Road (approximately across from the Stratton Falls Campsite - where the film crew had their meals (that is, on the campsite)). ...
