In memory of Obidiah S. Scudder who departed this life the 25th of the 8th month 1830 aged 50 yrs. 11 months 28 days (carved in large flat stone)
Obidiah Scudder departed this life in the 26th of the 11th month 1804 aged 3 months 24 days (carved in small fieldstone)
Most of these stones were hand carved in hand-cut fieldstone. A couple were regular headstones. There was approx. 25 or more unmarked fieldstone markers.
