Delaware County NY Genealogy and History Site

This is my grandfather’s father, Edward Alonzo Boggs, and his first wife, Nancy Rachel Murray. This is probably a wedding photo. They were married 21 Mar 1866. Edward was born 14 Dec 1838 in Bovina, NY and died 13 Aug 1908 in West Harpersfield, NY. Nancy was born 7 Feb 1849 in Bovina, NY and died 20 Dec 1887 in Calicoon, NY. Cemetery records show her birth date as 8 Feb 1849. (The 7 Feb date was from my grandfather’s records.) Edward was a Methodist minister and later a farmer.
