Delaware County NY Genealogy and History Site

These are articles relating to an "Anson Vail" from Deposit, NY. I believe these to be in reference to Abraham Anson Vail, who is currently buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery. As you can tell from the first news article, it was reported 2 days after the reported death of Abraham. The Find-a-Greave entry for Abraham has him passing in Deposit, but I believe this to be incorrect. I believe Anson A Vail is Abraham Anson Vail.

Can anyone veriry the death location for me?. I did not find him in the NY death index that is online that covers this time period. Would there possibly be any cemetery records that might show his death location info? I have not found any online newspaper records from the local area there mentioning his death as well.

I hope that through this website, his death location can be verified so that my records are correct.
