The last Will and Testament of Otto L.A. Haennings of the town of
Colchester County of Delaware ans state of New York
I Otto L.A. Haennings aware of the uncertainty of life, do make, ordain
? and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner ? following,
that is to say:
After the payment of my funeral charges, the expenses of administering
my estate and my lawful debits, I give, devise and bequeath my protery
as follows:
First: I will & bequeath the use of my entire estate both real &
personal to my wife Mary Haennings during her life
Second: At the death of my said wife I will & bequeath to mt son
Harrison Haennings if he is then living one hundred dollars & if he ?
dead said hundred dollars shall be divded between his then living
children share and share alike
? my son William Henry Haennings shall live with my said wife after my
death & shall work the farm for her & take care of & provide for her on
said farm & treat her in all respects as a loving & dutiful son should a
parent during her life then at her death all of the rest residue &
remainder of my said estate I will & bequeath to him but in case he
shall not do as above stated in all respects then my said wife shall be
the absolute owner of said estate & she may sell & dispose of the same
as she desires
Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my wife Mary Haennings to be
exectrix of my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former
Wills by me made.
In witness whereof, I have here unto subscribed my name and affixed my
seal, the 10th day of january in the year of our lord, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-eight..
