Via eBay I purchased this postcard - a person put numbers on the front of card with description of places on the back. I edited the postcard and made the numbers bolder in white leaving original numbers in place. I did my best to interpret the handwriting leaving the transcription as the original on the postcard. --Tamara Sanford, May 23, 2003

Halcottsville May 5th 1909
Dear Mother,
Your letter receved will wright more lattor. I have numbered sume of the places on the other side. You can see where thar by the number.
No 1 is our house & store
No 2 is the Methodist curch
No 3 is the Bridge crosing the Delaware River
No 4 is Depo just acrost the River
No 5 is the Methodist parsoneage
No 6 is the school house
No 7 is a Dam on the Delaware River just north of my house
From your son pleas rember me to Father
