Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

This picture was taken in front of the curtain on stage at Downsville Central School in what was the gym at that time and is now called the auditorium. The date was between 1957 and 1961. This was an annual variety show, which I think the Downsville Women's Club sponsored. Anyone or any organization in the community was invited to participate. Donations were used by the club for the benefit of the community. This comedy skit was a "Shot Gun Wedding" put on by the Downsville Fire Department.

Paricipants are: L to R: Art Shaver, Thor "TJ" Klindt, Ivan Hood, Ed Conan, Jim Stanton (my Uncle), Fred Babcock, ?, Raymon Bull, Jr., Gus Liddle and Glenn "Luke" Watson.
