Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site
 Hester ? Married Ezra Oliver in Greene Co. NY early 1800. They had Darius who married Hannah Odell and Elizabeth who married James W. Ingraham . Darius moved his family to Meredith, Delaware County mid 1800s by way of Sullivan County. The Oliver and Odell families are found in census records in Meredith through 1900. Elizabeth is my great-great grand Mother. We believe Hester was full blooded Mohawk and Ezra was Lenape. Picture was taken in 1800s. --Donald R. George was, grandson of Hester Oliver so the 2 women's name are in the same family. I found a copy of the photograph among the photographs of a granddaughter of Elizabeth Zurner with that name on the back. I believe that is the correct identification. --Lorraine |
