Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

This is a postcard from the 40's taken of Sherwood Heights, the "project" in Sidney...I guess everybody may already know that the project was built for war effort workers of Bendix-Scintilla Magneto Division...My Dad says they were really nice places to live in the 40's and early 50's... Unfortunately, the majority now are abandoned or in extreme disrepair. A few have been restored and are really nice.
