Nellie Couse (1876 - 1961) was the eldest daughter of Peter Harper Couse and Emma Francela Whitman of the Masonville/Deposit area of Delaware County, NY. LaVerne Pearsall (1877 - 1849) is the eldest son of Urias Pearsall and Anna M. Fuller of Bainbridge, Chenango, NY. The Pearsall Family is one of the earliest families to settle in the Bainbridge area. Nellie and LaVerne had six children: Graydon, Helen, Glenn, Clarence, Peter and Ruth; and raised five to adulthood. They are both buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton, Chenango, NY.
