Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

This building was built by Odd Fellows in 1909. Advent of Movies, name changed to Capitol Theatre by Mr. English, Proprietor.

The couple with the 2 children standing in the front are Bertha & William Shaffer and their children Raymond & Florence. Florence (my mom) was born in 1909 if that helps date it. Uncle Raymond lived in Hancock, and died in Cadosia in June of 1991. --Alice Keel Crim, March 11, 2003
