Here are two pictures from my late Grandmother's collection of pictures that I believe are from the Mabon and Calhoun families. Grandma's first husband was James Calhoun. His sister, Anna, married William Alexander Mabon. The portrait of the children I believe show the children of William and Anna Mabon. The oldest boy was William Daniel Mabon, who later married Elizabeth McDivitt. I would like to verify the identification of these children. I have three other pictures of these children at various stages.
The other group picture seems to include the oldest Mabon boy (second person from the left). I also think the graying woman in the center of the picture is Cora Calhoun Graham, though I'm not sure.
I would like to get these pictures back to the Calhoun and/or Mabon family. Any assistance welcome.

NOTE (Dec 13, 2006) - I think we already have identified most of the people thanks to Gil Laing. As he noted, "Picture number one is of my Uncle William Daniel Mabon, Cornelia May (my mother) Mabon Laing Harrington, my Uncle Archibald McAuslan Mabon, and my Aunt Anna Grace Mabon Oliver." Gil identified the second picture as including "Uncle Peter Calhoun, William D. Mabon, Cornelia McNair Calhoun (great grandmother), Anna Mary Calhoun Mabon (my grandmother), Aunt Florence Laing Calhoun. Children in front are Archie, Anna, & Connie Mabon (children of Wm & Anna Mabon). Third row, Cora Calhoun Graham Amos (Aunt), Pearl Calhoun Graham (we think), & unknown. Photo two taken on the Calhoun Farm, Calhoun Hill, Andes, NY."
