 KILBORN BURYING GROUND
Gay Brook Road, Town of Franklin, Delaware County, NY
This old cemetery is about 2 1/2 miles up Gay Brook Road, which was dirt in 1965. It was on the very edge of the road , with only two remaining stones and the base for the third. It is possible that it was a family cemetery with only the three graves. I copied it in 1965. --Don Palmer Kilborn, Walter died 3, 1887, aged 82 years, 14 days Polly, wife of Wallace Kilborn, died Jan. 2, 1878, aged 71 years, 5 months, 6 days --photo above shot by Joyce Riedinger in 2015 - this may or may not be marking the burial ground - it was the only thing found |
