How to Subscribe to the
Battle of Honey Hill Mailing List

If you are interested or connected with the Civil War battle of Honey Hill (SC) or one of the units that fought there (such as the 144th NY, the 127th NY, the 25th Ohio or the 54th Mass.), you are invited and encouraged to join a new mailing list that has just been established.

The idea of a LIST is to share ideas, inquiries, or information with other LIST subscribers by posting a message on the LIST for everyone to read. This message will come to you in the form of an e-mail message. Then you or others can respond back to the LIST with a followup response or question. It's a wonderful tool for genealogical or historical research.

If you first want to know more about the Battle of Honey Hill or the regiments that fought there, visit the web site at:

HERE'S HOW TO SUBSCRIBE:

To subscribe to the list in mail mode, send a message to:

HONEYHILL-L-request@rootsweb.com

that contains the word subscribe (in the body of the message) and nothing else.

If you prefer DIGEST mode (all messages get lumped into a single daily e-mail to you), you should send the command instead to:

HONEYHILL-D-request@rootsweb.com

To have your name removed from the LIST, simply send the command unsubscribe to:

HONEYHILL-L-request@rootsweb.com (if in mail mode) or
HONEYHILL-D-request@rootsweb.com (if in digest mode).

To switch from one mode to the other, you should unsubscribe from one and then subscribe to the other.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me. Thank you!
