FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF WALTON BURNS TO THE GROUND
The First Baptist Church of Walton, at 55 Townsend Street (corner Platt) was burned to the ground today (January 11, 2011), including the parsonage (which was being used for Sunday school). According to "Walton Yesteryears," the church building was constructed in 1898.
