This Indenture Made the nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty Nine. Between Andrew G Ten Eick + Mariah his wife, Henry Sornborger + Susanah his wife, Henry Ten Eick + Nancy his wife, John S Veeder + Mary his wife, George Ten Eick + Ersula his wife of the town of Davenport and County of Delaware and State of New York of the first part and John U. Ten Eick of the Same place of the Second part Witnesseth that the Said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum of Twelve hundred Dollars Money of account of the United States of America to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath bargained Sold remised and quit Claimed and by these presents Doth bargain Sell remise and quit claim unto the Said party of the Second part in his actual possession now being and his heirs and assigns forever, all and that piece or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the town of Davenport and County of Delaware and State aforesaid Being a part of lot No Seventeen on the South Side of the Charlotte River and bounded as follows Beginning in the center of the road on the line between the lot No Sixteen and Seventeen near a Maple tree Running south twenty two degrees west thirty five + a half rods from thence north thirty four degrees + ten minutes west to the river + from thence up the Said River as it winds and turns to the line of No Sixteen thence south thirty four degrees + ten minutes east two hundred and five rods to the place of Beginning Containing twenty Seven acres and thirteen purches Be the Same more or less. Together with all and Singular the hereditainments and appurtenances thereunto In any wise appurtaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the Said parties of the first part Either in law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the Said hereditainments and appurtenances to have and to hold the said granted and bargained premises with the priveliges and appurtenances thereof to him the Said John U. Ten Eick his heirs and assigns forever all the above described premises and everything thereunto belonging, to the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the Said parties of the first part hath hereunto Set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.

On the 16th day of March 1830. The within named Andrew G Ten Eick and Mariah his wife, Henry Sornborger and Susanah his wife, Henry Ten Eick and Nancy his wife, John S Veeder and Mary his wife, and George Ten Eick and Ursulla his wife all of them to me well known and who personally came before me Benjamin Parker one of the Comms of Said County and Severally acknowledged that they Executed the within deed as their free and voluntary act for the use and purpose therein mentioned and the Said Mariah, Susanah Nancy Mary and Ursula separate and apart from their Said husbands acknowledged that they Executed the Said deed as their free and voluntary act and without fear or compulsion of their husbands respectively.
