Lieutenant-Colonel Theophilus L. England. 89th NY Volunteers. Killed in action in front of Petersburg, Virginia in the closing days of the war. Delhi's GAR post was named after him. Buried in Woodland Cemetery. His funeral was held on Courthouse Square!
