Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

This information was recorded by my Great Aunt Daisy DeSilva who passed away many years ago. Her daughter Anne Willis shared the information with my sister. I think that it must be a small family plot. My mother remembers seeing it when she played in her Grandfathers pasture. My name is Bill Gaeta, I was married to Nancy Rogers, her father Clyde Rogers was Daisy's brother. I occasionally worked on the farm for Clyde. I know where the plot is, it was wet ground and the story I remember is that some time in the 1800's, those that were buried there that still had family in the area were moved to a more suitable resting place. I also seem to remember in the 1980's there was concern that efforts were being made to obscure the graves still there.
