N.Y 3rd CAV. CO. C , DANIEL RILEY
I am trying to receive any information on a Daniel Riley from Co. C of the N.Y. Vol. 3rd Cav. and am trying to ID a Civil War carbine, Sharps and Hankins serial # 2693 that I believe he was issued in 1863 when he enlisted. Any help on him or records of the guns issued to the N.Y. 3rd Cav. would be greatly appreciated. I am a History teacher in a high school in SW Wisconsin. Jeff Schave, June 5, 2000
