Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

Photo taken in probably the late 20s or early 30s at Bryden's Lake near Cabin Hill by Carl Bartholomew - I would guess at one of the many family parties that used to be held there before Colonel Bartholomew became ill and departed this earthly plane. The view is of the fields of the Sutherland farm - buildings of which are just out of sight and to the right of the end of the lake. Colonel and Mr. Sutherland had a "Gentlemen's Agreement" to the effect that each would water their livestock at the lake without complaint by the other.
