Two of the three daughters of Porter Broad and Marie E. Whitman
Porter Broad and Marie E. Whitman had three daughters: Angeline Mary (November 25, 1857 – June 28, 1942), Eva Eudora (December 8, 1859 – December 28, 1937) and Birdie (November 22, 1865 – January 2, 1866).
first 2 photos are Angie, 2nd is Eva Angeline or Angie Broad and her sister Eva Broad were very close and in their photographs they look more twins than siblings. Angie married Charles Philley around 1896 when she was around 39 and had no issue. Eva never married and moved in with her sister after the death of their mother Maria Whitman Broad in 1906. The first photograph is of Angie Broad as a toddler taken by H. S. Wells in Norwich, NY around 1860. The next two photos are of Angie Broad and her sister Eva Broad around 1875 and there was no photographer’s stamp on the photos.
