SMITH, STEVENS, BURRITT, GOODRICH, GAYLORD, PINNEY, MOORE
This Bible was on E-Bay last week #250144217625 (auction ended 24 July 2007) and the scans are wonderful and easy to read. I have no connection to this family, but thought there might be others who would be interested.
I have traced Zacheus SMITH (b. 26 Feb 1777) who m. (1) Betsey STEVENS & (2) Phebe BURRITT, alias GOODRICH to Delaware Co, NY in 1820 census. I found his son, Lonzo Milton SMITH (b. 29 Nov. 1806, b. NY) who m. "Almira G. DRAKE, alias GAYLORD, November 28th 1835" in 1850 & 1860 & 1870 census in Windsor, Hartford Co, CT. In 1880 the Lonzo M. SMITH was in Bloomfield, Hartford Co, CT with his dau. Eliza A. MOORE & family. In 1850 census Lonzo's father-in-law, John GAYLORD is with the family.
In ABSTRACTS OF WILLS, ADMINISTRATIONS & GUARDIANSHIPS in NY STATE 1787-1835; on pg 179 (at Ancestry.com)
