If you go there today, you would never know that there was ever a town there. NYC did good job of burying that community. The photo I have is not in very good condition. I worked very hard on it to get this much resolution. It was in pretty bad shape. My grandmother was a Beers and lived on Beers Brook Road. I have a good photo of the Beers house. Home of Clark J. Beers and Susie Beers. This one of Beerston is of the old acid factory or acetate factory. It is missing a piece near the upper right corner. You can see the river, a road, some buildings with smoke stacks, and even some railroad tracks I think.
