Of that number of weeks' board thre has been had by poor persons belonging to the several towns to support for the year ending November 1st, 1859, 1,902 weeks and 1 day board, at 89 1/4 cents per week, which amounts to the sum of $1,697.96, charged as follows:

There has been paid for the transportation of the poor from the following towns, $18.59, as follows:
Hancock $2.84
Masonville 4.00
Middletown 3.25
Sidney 8.50
$18.59
Which sum is not charged in the Board of the several towns, as it does not constitute any part of the expense at the Hosue, but should be charged to such towns in addition to their board.
There remains to be charged to the county 670 weeks and 3 days board at 89 1/4 cents per week, which amounts to the sum of $ 599.12
To which add the amount charged the several towns 1,697.96
Which makes the expenses for the year as above stated 2,297.08
There was raised last year to pay old debts 2,719.45
Of this amount the Superintendents audited paid bills that accrued
previous to November 1st, 1857 407.72

Of their poor at the House 1,440.37
There have been fines received and paid into the poor fund 45.00
$3,485.37
The Superintendents have drawn checks on the Treasurer
For the sum of $3,904.37
Deduct from that sum old bills paid as above 407.72
$3,496.65
Which leaves the poor fund over drawn 11.28
$3,485.37
The Treasurer has paid checks issued in 1858 but not
Presented until 1859 $111.90
The whole amount of transportation checks paid was $38.34
Deduct the amount charged the several towns as above $18.59
Leaves the amount of transportation for the county to pay 19.75
The Treasurer's fees on the poor fund for the current year 40.54
Poor fund over drawn as above 11.28
Which leaves the poor fund in debt $ 183.47
As there is a larger amount due the count from the several towns than there was lst year, the Superintendents think the sum of $2,000 raised will be sufficient for cuurent expenses and pay the balance the poor fund is in debt.
The whole number of poor supported at the Poor House was 98. Of this number 36 were county poor and 62 were town por. Discharged 40, bound out 8, died 6, remaining in the Poor House, November 1st, 1859 44: idiots, 9; insane, 13; deaf and dumb 1.
