This picture
of the Aldrichville Farm was taken by my brother, Jonathan Stuart Aldrich (my dad is Jonathan Samason Aldrich) taken about 1988 - eight years after we sold it. Most of the property belonging to the farm is to the left of the picture. The picture is taken from a field on Old Clump. The barn has since fallen down. There used to be three maple trees in the front yard - they were killed by leaking fuel oil.
The original house burned and this one was built in the late 30's from a home that was torn down in South Kortright. I have a history of this farm written by my stepmother, Dorothy (Livingston) Aldrich, that gives more specifics.
