Origin – Made by Harris relative. Came from the Stone House; Per Ethel’s note in her journal "Great, Great Grandfather Smith (this would be Silas S Smith) used to lean it against the stone mantel and hold a candle stick to read". Condition: Finish is original, but has been recaned in 1972

Belonged to Silas Gillett Smith in the Stone House Condition: Original – Have not been refinished or repaired Per Ethel’s journal – “in 1953 the seats are still the originals and it was over 100 years old then” Quantity - 4
