YENDES CEMETERY

Between Delhi and Walton on Rt. 10 Town of Hamden, Delaware Co., NY

In the summer of 2014, the Country Bumpkins 4-H group did a clean up in this cemetery. They cleaned all the stones and reset one of the leaning gravestones. They also relocated one of the 3 GAR flag holders to it's correct location, marking the grave of a Civil War veteran. --Marianne Greenfield, Delhi Town Historian, July 20, 2015

In 2016, Tina and Dale Utter 'Cemetery Lovers' worked with the Country Bumpkins and describes them as enthusiastic and hard working kids. Click photo at right for larger view.
