Delaware County, NY Genealogy and History Site

This unmailed photo postcard comes from the estate of Rena Ingram, who resided at Long Flat, Delaware County, from her birth in October 1889 until circa 1915. The whole postcard measures 5.5" x 3.5," while the actual photograph is about a half-inch smaller all around.

The handwriting on the front of the postcard reads: "We would like to see Rena." The back of the postcard is labeled, "Hannah, 3 yrs, Jan. 10, 1911; Marcia, 2 yrs Apr. 25, 1911; Andrew Jr. born Jan. 9, 1911; Taken May 6, 1911."

Hannah, Marcia, and Andrew Jr. were the children of Andrew H. and Bessie Treadwell of Colchester. The Treadwells moved to Windsor, Broome County, by 1920.
